I chose Sage Soheir to research. Sage is a photographer and has been taking photos in her environment for more than 30 years when she graduated from Harvard with a bachelors degree. Her work is in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Houston, San Francisco, Cleveland, Boston, Chicago, and Portland Oregon. She taught photography at Harvard, Wellesley, and Massachusetts college of art.
This message in the photo means that even though the daughter is grown up the mom and dad still think of his/her daughter as a child. This one stands out to me because I can relate to this and it reminds me of me and my dad. He still calls me his little baby and he does not want to accept the fact that I'm growing up. These images are strong because they show both sides of the people in the portrait not just how one person feels.
